1          TheMaritimeSafetyCommittee,atitsseventy-ninthsession(1to10December2004), approved an amendment to the Guidelines forthedesign,constructionandoperationofpassenger submersiblecraft(MSC/Circ.981)regardingthedateofcompletionofthesurveyonwhichthe Safety Compliance Certificate is based, the text of which is set out in the annex.

 

2          MemberGovernmentsareinvitedtobringtheannexedamendmenttotheattentionofall partiesconcernedandtoapplythemwhenissuingSafetyComplianceCertificatesforpassenger submersible craft.
