  1 The Maritime Safety Committee, at its seventy-second session (17 to 26 May 2000), approved, as proposed by the Sub-Committee on Fire Protection at its forty-fourth session, modifications to the Guidelines on fire safety construction in accommodation areas (MSC/Circ.917), as set out in the annex.

2 Member Governments are invited to take account of the annexed modifications to the aforementioned circular and bring them to the attention of parties concerned.
